“Simpsorama” was the title of the long awaited “Simpsons/Futurama” crossover.  It aired last Sunday, November 9, 2014 (Season 26, Episode 6).  In this episode, the Planet Express crew comes back in time to stop the Simpsons from inadvertently destroying the future.

I’ve always been a “Simpsons” fan, but a much bigger “Futurama” fan.  I was sad when it was cancelled once again, but at least it went out on a high note.  Needless to say, I was thrilled to see it resurrected once more.  I thought they did a fantastic job with this crossover episode and enjoyed it immensely.  I actually liked it better than the “Simpsons/Family Guy” crossover (which I happened to enjoyed as well).  I would love to see them utilize Bender again in future episodes.  And considering how this episode ended, you just never know.

I’m confident that “Futurama” will be back again in some form.  In the meantime, here is the opening couch gag segment to “Simpsorama” along with the end titles mash-up sequence and a shiny metal butt-load of screenshots.
