Did you know that Harrison Ford played Indiana Jones not four but five times?  If you are a die-hard fan, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.  But for other casual observer, you may not know about this little forgotten gem.

Back in the 90’s, George Lucas produced “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” for ABC.  The show ran for two seasons from 1992-1993.  It showed Indy at different points in his life from a small kid to a teenager, usually beginning and ending the episodes with him recounting his life as that of an old man.

But what I found the most interesting part of the show is that they managed to get Harrison Ford to play a 50 year old Indiana Jones in an episode entitled “Young Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Blues .”  This two hour episode aired on ABC on March 13, 1993 and ran during its second season.

Now he wasn’t in the episode for very long.  He just helped to bookend the main story, which starred Sean Patrick Flanery as his younger self.  But although it adds up to not much more than a glorified cameo, it’s Indiana Jones all the same.
