If you know anything about history, then you know that 11/22/63 is the date that Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, TX.  It’s also the title of the book that Stephen King wrote about a man by the name of Jake Epping who goes back in time to stop said assassination. 

And now, thanks to Hulu, it’s an eight-part miniseries starring James Franco in the main role of our hero time traveler.  J.J. Abrams and Stephen King produce the series which arrives next year on February 15th.

I’ve read the book and enjoyed it very much.  But to be fair, I felt it was overwritten and could have been shorter and tighter.  King did some exhausted research on the subject and I feel he wanted show this off a bit to much to the detriment of the story.  Even so, it is a very well written book and a fascinating story.  It stuck with me long after I was done reading it.  I may revisit the book again after the miniseries has aired.
