I thought one of the more entertaining films this summer was “Mad Max: Fury Road.” It’s certainly one of the best action films to have come along in a long time. And the Blu-ray for the film hits shelves on September 1st. But some of the deleted scenes you’ll find on the disc have shown up early. And you can find those below.
At this weekends D23 Expo, the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” poster was revealed. Original “Star Wars” poster artist Drew Struzan came back to do the art work for the new sequel.

A behind the scenes pic has apparently leaked giving us our first look at Mark Hamill in the role that made him famous. It seems that the circle is now complete as this older Luke Skywalker from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” appears to give off an Obi-Wan vibe.

The Weinstein Company has just released the trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s latest feature “The Hateful Eight.”
The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Walton Goggins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth, Zoë Bell, Michael Madsen, Demian Bichir, Bruce Dern, & Channing Tatum.

Entertainment Weekly has released some new photos from J.J. Abrams upcoming sci-fi/fantasy space sequel known as “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Everyone’s new soon-to-be favorite villain Kylo Ren graces the cover of the magazine (its annual Fall Movie Preview).

So I watched the international Korean TV spot for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” the other day. Other than one new shot, it was pretty much the same ‘ol thing they’ve given us this past year. Not that it’s bad by any means, but it got me to thinking. I feel that ultimately these spots are lacking a bit of energy and gusto.

A new “Star Wars” TV spot has popped up for the upcoming December 18th sequel “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” It’s an international promo and although most of the footage we’ve seen before, there is one new scene that appears at the beginning of this Korean spot.

20th Century Fox has just released the first official Red-Band trailer for their upcoming superhero film (and most likely hit) “Deadpool” starring Ryan Reynolds as the title character.
Per Fox’s official site: “Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.”

20th Century Fox has released an extended four minute preview for it’s upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot hitting theaters this Friday. I realize a lot of fans are skeptical, but I tend to think it looks interesting. Hey, it can’t be any worse than the two films that came before. Though, in fairness, I found them watchable, but far from great.
A cast photo from next years “Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One” was released at this weekend’s D23 Expo. The photo includes Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed, Diego Luna, Jiang Wen and Donnie Yen.
