Chris Pratt served as host on Saturday Night Live’s 40th season opener last night (Sep. 27, 2014). As always, the show was pretty painful to watch. In terms of cutting edge comedy, SNL is far behind the times and stuck in some kind of vanilla factory. It’s too safe and catered. The show needs a shake up from top to bottom, and then, and only then do I believe it could turn into something magnificently hilarious. It needs to lead the way once again. And, yes, of course they hit gold from time to time. If they didn’t, the show wouldn’t still be on the air. But let’s face it, the bad does outweigh the good.

There was a rumor going around the other day that the Batmobile was stolen from the set of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” currently filming in Detroit. But after speaking with producers, police confirmed that no theft had occurred. The Batmobile was safe and sound. But then the below picture surfaced.

Channing Tatum was recently on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” She thought she’d have a little fun with him so she brought up one of his greatest fears, which just happens to be Porcelain Dolls. He apparently finds them to be life-like and freaky looking. And he would be right. But his reaction to it is gold. And funny.

Howard Stern decided to jump on board the Ice Bucket Challenge sheep brigade. At least he decided to try something a little different.
And on a side note, when are people going to learn how to hold their damn phone when making a video. It’s absolutely baffling why they record vertically instead of sideways.

Well, if you read one of my previous posts, you’ll know my take on this whole Ice Bucket Challenge thingy. But I do like some of the videos. So now I guess it’s time for “The Simpsons” to get involved. And you know if Homer is doing it, it’s got to be a worthy cause (that must have donuts included somehow).
