Geeking Out Over the Star Wars Retro Action Figure Set

I remember a long time ago in a galaxy not so far, far away when the Star Wars action figures were first introduced back in the late 1970’s. In the stores, it created a mob of people who pushed, shoved and trampled anyone who got in their way from owning their first piece of one of the very first blockbuster films of all time. I remember this because as a little kid, I was the one being pushed, shoved, and trampled by the adults around me in order to obtain this Star Wars gold. Lucky for me, when the crowd disbursed, the store brought out a whole bin-full of these action figures so I didn’t miss out on buying any of them that day. I just got a little bruised in the process.

Boba Fett Gets Rick Rolled

Boba Fett sure did love his flashbacks. So I thought during one of those, he should get Rick Rolled. Yes, this is stupid, but it amused me.

So I’ve had some fun in the past coming up with Alternate Versions of “Star Wars” Trailers and TV Spots.

I’ve never been a fan of the advertising campaigns for the newer films. They just never seemed too… “Star Wars-y”. I’m a bit old school, I guess. I like to see my trailers (and TV Spots) with the “Star Wars” music blaring, exploding action, fan favorites front and center. These new spots just don’t do it for me. They seem too passive. So I’ve tried to course correct it.

“Star Wars Rebels” Season Three Trailer

A new trailer for the third season of “Star Wars Rebels” has been released.

I have found this show to be exceptionally enjoyable. Even though I really liked “The Clone Wars” I didn’t expect a lot from “Rebels” when it was first announced. But I was hooked from the very first episode and haven’t stopped watching since.

Princess Leia Organa Arrives on “Star Wars Rebels”

We’ve seen Lando Calrissian, R2-D2 and C-3PO on “Star Wars Rebels.” And now the Princess arrives!

Princess Leia Organa is coming to “Star Wars Rebels” later this month. This is a younger version than the one we first encountered in “Star Wars: A New Hope.” Well, she had to learn that feisty attitude somewhere. So now we get a sneak peak into the making of a rebel Princess.

Disney’s “Tomorrowland” Official Teaser Trailer and Movie Stills

Disney has just released a teaser trailer for their upcoming feature film “Tomorrowland.” The film opens next summer, May 22, 2015. The teaser definitely has me intrigued. And the fact that it’s written and directed by Brad Bird is a pretty good sign as well.

New Trailer and Movie Stills for Disney’s “Big Hero 6”

Disney has just released the new Trailer for their animated feature “Big Hero 6.” The film will be released in 3D on November 7, 2014.

Here’s the Synopsis:

“Big Hero 6” is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.

Watch a New 2 Minute Clip from Disney’s “Big Hero 6”

Here is a new 2 minute clip from Disney’s upcoming animated feature “Big Hero 6.” The movie opens in theaters November 7, 2014 in 3D.

“Star Wars Rebels” Extended Preview (Video)

Here is an Extended Preview of the upcoming animated Disney Series “Star Wars Rebels.” If it’s anything like “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” which happened to be better then the actual live-action prequels, then I’ll definitely be checking it out.

Big Hero 6 will be the first Disney animated feature to feature Marvel characters since The Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of Marvel Entertainment in 2009.”
