Although it doesn’t officially open to the public until April 7th, I was invited to an early viewing of the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood.

I’ve seen all of the movies and read a couple of the books.  All I can say is ‘Wow.’  I really had a good time there.  I haven’t been to the one in Orlando, but have caught some of the videos on YouTube.  But nothing beats the ‘in-person’ experience.  They really outdid themselves.  The architecture is just fantastic and it really does feel as if you are walking along the streets of Hogsmeade and exploring Hogwarts.  It’s as if you stepped right into the film.

The main ride where you go on an adventure with Harry Potter and soar through the sky was superbly done.  And even though I’ve been on similar rides in the past, this one really blew the others away.  It was just so much fun.
