The “Captain America: Civil War” Trailer Arrives! (Plus Screenshots)

Captain America Civil War Teaser Poster PicThe first trailer for “Captain America: Civil War” premiered tonight on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”  Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans appeared on the show to present the new trailer.

And before you ask – no, Tom Holland’s incarnation of Spider-Man doesn’t make an appearance quite yet.  I’m sure they’re holding his unveiling back for the final trailer, if not the film itself.

First Full Clip from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (Plus SNL Star Wars Skit)

During last night’s “American Music Awards” the first full clip from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was shown.  Though short, it does give us a slice of action involving the characters of Rey and Finn, with the droid BB-8 trailing behind.

Teaser Trailer for Stephen King’s “11/22/63”

112263 Hulu SeriesIf you know anything about history, then you know that 11/22/63 is the date that Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, TX.  It’s also the title of the book that Stephen King wrote about a man by the name of Jake Epping who goes back in time to stop said assassination.

Star Wars The Force Awakens TV Spot End Title CardAre you old enough to remember the TV spots from the original “Star Wars” trilogy?  You know — with the “Star Wars” music blaring, the quick cuts of our heroes in action, lots of energy, gun fire, lightsabers!  Well these are the things that I feel are missing from the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” advertising campaign.  Yes, there is some action and lightsabers, but its missing the fun and excitement from what came before.  It’s just too passive.

Brand Spanking New “The Hateful Eight” Trailer

Hateful Eight Slider ImageThe Weinstein Company has released a new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s latest entitled “The Hateful Eight.”

What’s it about you ask?  Well…

“While racing toward the town of Red Rock in post-Civil War Wyoming, bounty hunter John “The Hangman” Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive prisoner (Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and a man (Walton Goggins) who claims to be a sheriff. Hoping to find shelter from a blizzard, the group travels to a stagecoach stopover located on a mountain pass. After encountering four strangers, they may not make it to their destination.”

Star Wars The Force Awakens Title CardA new International Poster for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has been released.  It’s similar to the Domestic poster with only a few alterations.  I’ll leave it to you to compare.  I’ll add both below.

King Shark Joins “The Flash” – ‘We’re Going To Need A Bigger Speedster’

The Flash Logo Slider ImageThe Villain ‘King Shark’ made his way to the CW’s “The Flash” this past Tuesday in the episode entitled “The Fury of Firestorm.”  

The graphics were actually quite good for a small screen show.  So much so, that the folks over at “The Flash” said that this scene was about all they could afford to do.  So don’t get your hopes up on seeing a lot more of this fishy villain.  Though I would be quite disappointed if he didn’t pop up again at some point in the series run.
