About a week back (on Sunday, June 5th), I stopped over at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention located at The Reef (1933 S. Broadway, LA, CA).  They hold this thing every few months or so.  Click HERE to visit their site.

What we usually get is a giant dealers room along with various folks signing autographs. 

Signing this time around was Ex-Supergirl Laura Vandervoort, “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story’s” Jason Scott Lee, Shannon Lee (Bruce Lee’s Daughter) and Amy Gumenick who plays Cupid on “Arrow.”

Of special complaining nature, I came to find out that Laura Vandervoort was not only charging $40 for an autograph (which has become the norm now), but an additional $40 if you wanted to take a pic with her with your own cell phone.  Quite frankly, I think that should be included in the original $40.  Let’s face it, that’s a bit of a price gouge to the fans (especially for someone who isn’t terribly famous).  But hey, people paid it!  Supply and demand!  I will say that she does look as good in person as she does on the screen.  So there’s that.
