So “Orange is the New Black” has just landed on Netflix for a third season.  And I think that most people probably know by now that the character of Piper Chapman is based on the real life persona of Piper Kerman.  And the character of Alex Vause is based on a woman by the name of Cleary Wolters. 

So my cat-like curiosity made me look the both of them up to see if they resembled their onscreen counterparts.  Here’s a pic of Taylor Schilling (who plays Piper Chapman) and Piper Kerman side-by-side.  You can kind of see it.

How here’s a pic of Laura Prepon (who plays Alex Vause) and Cleary Wolters side-by-side.  I don’t see it so much.

But the fact is — I actually see more of a resemblance here.  What do you think?
