Have you ever wondered what “Futurama” would look like if rendered in photo-realistic 3D?  Well Russian artist Alexey Zakharov did.  Using the programs After Effects, Nuke, 3ds Max, and Photoshop, Zakharov recreated part of the Intro to the show. 

I’ve included the ‘Intro’ below, along with a ‘making of’ video, a 3D rendered ‘Planet Express ship’ video and the original animated intro to the show.  So goggles on, speakers to full and, uh, well, oh hell just watch the thing.
