Day of the Dead Never Before Seen BTS Photos

Day of the Dead was George Romero’s third film in a trilogy of post-apocalyptic Zombie films, following on from “Dawn of the Dead” and “Night of the Living Dead.”

The movie is about a group of survivors taking shelter in an underground bunker, keeping safe from the roaming dead above.

It was released on June 30, 1985. On a budget of just $4 million, it grossed a total of $34 million worldwide. Although it wasn’t as much of a critical and commercial success as his other two zombie films, it turned out to be his favorite of the original trilogy.

Of course, Romero went on to make other Dead films many years later, going beyond just a trilogy of Zombie films.

Well, I came across some (most-likely) never before seen ‘behind the scenes’ photos from “Day of the Dead.” I don’t believe many of these have seen the light of day before. The quality isn’t the greatest, but it’s the best we have right now.
