A new International “Guardians of the Galaxy” trailer has just been released. The powers that be went for a completely different tone this time around. They ditched the tunes and went with an orchestral soundtrack. I liked the vibe of the other trailers better. I feel this trailer stripped some of the personality away, but am still very much looking forward to seeing it. I’ve also added a new television spot and two new character posters.

Bobby and Peter Farrelly are at it again! They have sequelized “Dumber and Dumber.” Why did it take them twenty years? Who knows. Maybe like George Lucas, they’ll make the excuse that they needed new technology to be invented so they could tell a good story. Note to Lucas – you failed! As for this film, we’ll see. I realize there was a prequel back in ’03 (Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd) but that was apparently not done by the Farrelly’s.
It pains me to say this but you have to give it to TMZ. Those sons of bitches have spies everywhere. As despicable as I find their site at times (which is almost all times), it is stupidly entertaining. They’re like an ex-girlfriend that you really hate, but continue to be drawn back to. Though I am tempted to take their bus tour.
Some new set pics have hit the interwebs today from the set of “Terminator: Genesis.” In this continuation – reboot of sorts, “Game of Thrones” Emilia Clarke portrays the tortured heroine Sarah Connor this time around. On an interesting note, her “Game of Thrones” co-star Lena Headey portrayed the same character for the TV series version (“The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) a few years back. Jai Courtney portrays Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke does some John Connor, and finally, everyone’s favorite Governator returns to the role he originated. Need I really say his name.

I have to admit that I forgot about this little known film called “Hollywoodland” where the soon-to-be Batman once played the role of Superman. Okay, to be more accurate, he actually played the role of George Reeves who played Superman. The film was about a private investigator looking into the supposed suicide of George Reeves who many believed to have been murdered.

Disney just recently released the first trailer for their animated film “Big Hero 6.” I’ll let Wiki tell the story…
“Big Hero 6 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated superhero film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and inspired by the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film will be directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams, and will be the 54th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Big Hero 6 will be the first Disney animated feature to feature Marvel characters since The Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of Marvel Entertainment in 2009.”

Seth MacFarlane included a neat little cameo in his soon-to-be released film “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” Personally, I would have preferred not to be spoiled on this one, but what can you do? Damn you, Internet!!! Actually, that’s unfair. The internet isn’t to be blamed for this one. It’s the marketing department for the film that did it this time. I first learned of this cameo from the trailers for the film. I can only assume they included it as a marketing ploy to bring in more people to the flick. But sometimes it’s best to hold a little back. I’d rather not watch the whole movie in a two minute trailer. Anyhow, I planned on seeing this film regardless of the cameo. The movie looks funny. Here’s hoping it’s more than a one off joke, but I’m not holding my breathe.

Submitted for your approval is some video from the making of “Terminator: Genesis.” It’s mostly just a lot of explosions and gunfire. I’d say they were most likely filming scenes involving mankind’s future war with the machines. The movie is currently being shot in New Orleans and is slated for release July 1, 2015.
