It was the concluding chapter in the story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia (or so we thought at the time). And it definitely had a lot of threads to tie up from its previous chapter.

Batmobile Stolen/Recovered from Set of “Batman v Superman?
There was a rumor going around the other day that the Batmobile was stolen from the set of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” currently filming in Detroit. But after speaking with producers, police confirmed that no theft had occurred. The Batmobile was safe and sound. But then the below picture surfaced.

Avoiding the Water with the 1975 “Jaws” Press Kit
Based on Peter Benchley’s best-selling novel, “Jaws” was a 1975 film directed by Steven Spielberg and was considered to be one of the very first Blockbusters.
The story of the Killer Shark starred Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, Lorraine Gary, and Murray Hamilton. The famous theme was composed by John Williams. And the film was shot primarily on location on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

Ease on Down the Road with 1978 “The Wiz” Souvenir Movie Book
Adapted from the 1975 Broadway musical, “The Wiz,” a retelling of L. Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” featured an all African-American cast starring the likes of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Richard Pryor, Lena Horne, Nipsey Russell, Mabel King, Ted Ross, Thelma Carpenter, and Therese Merritt. It was directed by Sidney Lumet with a screenplay by Joel Schumacher and was released theatrically in 1978.

Going Ape with the Original 1976 “King Kong” Pressbook
King Kong, that big lovable ape, made his second appearance on the big screen in 1976 alongside Jeff Bridges, Charles Grodin, and the very shiny and brand new out-of-the-box Jessica Lange. It was a remake of the classic 1933 film.

More aerial photos have popped up of the Millennium Falcon and some random X-Wing Fighters from the upcoming sequel “Star Wars Episode VII.” It’s the film most likely to dethrone “Avatar” as the biggest grossing film of all time. Yup, I said it! And I stand by it.

Video of the New Batmobile in Action from “Batman v Superman”
Some video has popped up of the new Batmobile in action during the filming of a scene for the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” flick. Admittingly, it’s not all that exciting, but it’s something. The movie is currently filming in Detroit.
