Marvel has just officially released the first trailer for their upcoming superhero flick “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The original plan was to premiere this trailer during next weeks “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” but Opps! someone leaked it online first. So in a very wise decision, they decided to get ahead of this inconvenient issue and release an official version of the trailer now, thereby mooting the bootleg version. I guess this ultimately sucks for “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” which could have used the ratings bump. At least Marvel had a good sense of humor about it, which is why they tend to dominate.
Dammit, Hydra.

This film will clearly dominate next summer’s box office and go on to be the biggest grossing film of the year. Now I would say, without a doubt, “Star Wars Episode VII” would take the year’s biggest grossing title, but because it premieres at the very end of next year, it may not rack up enough bucks in only two weeks to beat out “Avengers” summer long haul. But for what it’s worth, I still believe that the next “Star Wars” film will go on to surpass “Avatar” as the biggest grossing film of all time.
So I now present the new trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” along with the newly released movie poster and tons of movie stills (all shots taken from the trailer). The film opens May 1, 2015. Excelsior!
