There has been so much going around on the net lately on the latest “Avengers” film that I thought I’d put a lot of the more interesting stuff in one place.

And well, if you can’t tell from the title… SPOILERS!

Joss Whedon returns to write and direct “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.” In the film, the Avengers reunite to battle a sentient robot known as Ultron. The character of Ultron with be played/voiced by James Spader. We will also be introduced to the characters of Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and The Vision (Paul Bettany).

Now take most of the following with a grain of salt. Some of it may be true; some of it may only be rumor. All the same, I find it interesting.

The following are highlights for the first 15-20 minutes of the film. Per the Latino Review:

“Age Of Ultron” begins immediately after the Baron Von Struckerpost credit scene in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

It opens as the Avengers attack that rogue outpost Hyrda cell run by Baron Von Strucker, who possesses Loki’s staff, Chitauri weaponry, and the corpse of a leviathan!

Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch are on Von Strucker’s side and fight against the Avengers. The Scarlett Witch uses her powers and cast a spell on the Hulk into thinking that the Leviathan is still alive. Therefore, Hulk SMASH! ensues.

In the end, the Avengers emerge victorious. Afterwards, the team returns to Avengers Tower to celebrate their victory.  Apparently, Rhodey is there partying along with them. For fun, they take turns trying to pick up Thor’s hammer ‘Mjolnir.’ Tony Stark tries to pick up the hammer in his Iron Man armor, but only manages to damage his suit’s arm. And Captain America can only slightly move the hammer. But in the comics, Captain America had the ability to pick up the hammer completely, so this part may change.

Next, we find out that Banner and Black Widow have the hots for each other. But Banner is afraid to go too far with her for fear of hurting her. You wouldn’t want him to Hulk Out at the wrong moment. We also find out that Jane is no longer dating Thor. She is apparently with the character of Richard (Chris O’Dowd) from “Thor: The Dark World.” Thor supposedly is okay with her new relationship.

Elsewhere, it’s been reported that Agent Antoine Triplett (B.J. Britt) from the ABC show “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” was filming scenes. There was also an Iron Patriot siting.

The new Avengers Tower is the largest set ever built for a Marvel Film.

Black Widow will have a costume update. Here suit looks more Tron-Style, with blue lights and electricity flowing about. She’ll also have batons. The bad guys will receive electric shocks or “a widow’s sting’ when she fights them, thereby giving her a bit of a superpower-like ability.

Banner/Hulk will have expandable and shrinkable pants now. Probably a very good idea considering his condition.

All of the Avengers costumes will sport and “A” logo on them.

Stark will don a Mark 43 Iron Man suit. This has less gold on it than in “Iron Man 3” but more than “The Avengers.” The chest core reactor will be a circular shape once again. We will also see the Mark 44 which is apparently Stark’s ‘Hulkbuster’s suit.’

Ultron will use James Spader’s facial expressions in order to add more personality to the character. And Ultron will have an ‘army of drones’ that look very similar to him.

And finally, The Vision will be ‘100 percent’ Paul Bettany, but in all metallic form, shiny with gold, red, and green and sporting a yellow cape.
