Have you ever wondered what “Futurama” would look like if rendered in photo-realistic 3D? Well Russian artist Alexey Zakharov did. Using the programs After Effects, Nuke, 3ds Max, and Photoshop, Zakharov recreated part of the Intro to the show.
I posted one recently, but here are two more VFX Reels for Season 4 of “Game of Thrones.” If author George R. R. Martin doesn’t crank the next book out before the series catches up to him, maybe Rodeo FX can use some of their magic and create a CG version of Martin who can do it quicker. Snarkish, I know. It’s that kind of day.

Henry Cavill (Superman) and Amy Adams (Lois Lane) decided to jump on board the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge while in full costume on the set of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Though I think it’s an incredible cause to donate to, one for which everyone should, I believe that in 10 years time people will look back at this ice bucket fad and hang their heads in shame. There has to be something better and less idiotic. How about making everyone do 100 jumping jacks (promoting health and fitness) instead of giving them hypothermia? Though I will admit, the hypocrite in me does enjoy some of these videos. So here’s this one!

Here are some more pictures from the Detroit set of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” These showcase Henry Cavill in his full Superman costume. It appears they lightened the colors up this time around and made them closer to the traditional Superman outfit. TMZ originally posted the pics.

The folks over at Just Jared have posted some new behind the scenes photos of Henry Cavill on set wearing the Superman outfit. Granted, most of it is covered in a robe, but at least we get a bit of a feel as to the look they are going for this time around. Take a peak.
I’ve got a gripe.
I’m not a fan of when celebrities charge money for autographs. Mind you, I’m not speaking of the actors that once starred on one of your favorite shows back in the day and now sign autographs at these collector shows and Comic-Cons as a way to make some extra scratch to live on. Or the ones that sign and give the proceeds to charity. I’m speaking of the folks who are currently working actors, paid a good buck, and charge an exorbitantamount of money to sign their John Hancock for their fans.
