Fox (maybe Mulder) released the first minute from the premiere episode of “The X-Files” 6-part revival. 

In the clip, David Duchovny’s Fox Mulder gets us up to speed on who he is and what the X-Files are about. 

Duchovny returns along with his series co-star Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully.  Also reappearing from the original series are Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner and William B. Davis as the Smoking Man.  Annabeth Gish as Monica Reyes also pops up.

New additions to the cast are Robbie Amell as Agent Miller, Joel McHale as Tad O’Malley, and Lauren Ambrose as Agent Einstein.

This six-part event series kicks off on Fox (not Mulder) on January 24th.

Also added (below the one minute series clip) is an extended look behind the scenes of “The X-Files” revival.  And following that is a Jimmy Kimmel “X-Files” parody in which he’s joined by both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.
